Our Affiliate Centres

The Country Universities Centre has commenced building a collaborative network of affiliate centres across regional New South Wales, with the inaugural centre established in 2013 in Cooma, in the Snowy Monaro region.

The CUC Snowy Monaro (formerly Cooma Universities Centre) is a visible, high technology facility available for use by anyone in the community who is studying any course at any university. CUC Snowy Monaro has had over 200 registered students completing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at 28 Australian universities. The Centre has seen steady growth since inception, maintains strong local community partnerships and has established a firm blueprint for success under the affiliate model. For more information, please visit the CUC Snowy Monaro website.

The CUC Goulburn was officially opened on the 1st March 2018 by NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian, NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro and Member for Goulburn Pru Goward. CUC Goulburn has over 50 students registered to use the centre since opening.

The CUC Far West was officially opened on the 4th May 2018 by NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro, Member for Parkes Mark Coulton and Member for Barwon Kevin Humphries. CUC Far West has over 70 students registered to use the centre since opening. The centre has established strong community partnerships through Regional Development Australia Far West, and the Broken Hill Community Credit Union.

We are excited about expanding our blueprint across regional New South Wales and will be making further announcements shortly on additional affiliate centres to be established in 2019.
